Digital Academy of Texas does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, sex, disability, or age or any other basis prohibited by the law in its programs and activities , including Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The district provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.Digital Academy of Texas is committed to providing an environment that is free from all forms of discrimination which includes sex discrimination, gender-based discrimination, and sexual violence, and providing equal employment opportunities as regulated by Title VII and Title IX, and to insuring the accessibility of appropriate grievance.
The district has designated and authorized the following employee as the Title IX Coordinator to address concerns or inquiries regarding discrimination on the basis of sex, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, or gender-based harassment:

Reports can be made at any time and by any person, including during non-business hours, by mail, phone, or email. During district business hours, reports may also be made in person. Upon the district receiving notice or an allegation of sex-based harassment, the Title IX Coordinator will promptly respond in accordance with the process described at FFH(LOCAL).

Student Report
Any student who believes that he or she has experienced prohibited conduct or believes that another student has experienced prohibited conduct should immediately report the alleged acts to a teacher, school counselor, principal, other District employee, or the appropriate District official listed in this policy.
If appropriate and regardless of whether a criminal or regulatory investigation regarding the alleged conduct is pending, the District shall promptly take interim action calculated to address prohibited conduct or bullying prior to the completion of the District’s investigation.
