Welcome to Digital Academy of Texas!

At Digital Academy of Texas (DATX), we’re committed to creating a compassionate and challenging learning experience for students in grades 5–12. With a student body of approximately 500, we work closely with families to prepare students for the future. Students have access to Advanced Placement® courses, dual credit opportunities, and industry certification prep options to set them up to succeed, all from the comforting space of their own homes.

As a part of the Texarkana ISD family, we also strive to build students’ leadership capacity through our Leader in Me program and student-led projects.

  • Small-group instruction supports students needing extra assistance.

Career and College Readiness

  • We offer dual credit opportunities with Texarkana College. 
  • CTE programs allow students to explore high-demand careers starting in grade 7 and prepare to earn certifications as early as grade 9. 
  • Practicum courses help students prepare to earn industry-based certifications.
  • Students can prepare for post-secondary programs with free college and career counseling.

Socialization and Clubs

  • Virtual Socialization: Students can connect with peers by playing virtual games and more in our online hang-out zone, which teachers monitor. 
  • In-Person Socialization: Students have opportunities to attend gatherings throughout the state, field trips, prom, graduation, and more.
  • Student-Led Clubs: Students can vibe with other students with similar interests by joining DATX and K12 national clubs.
